Atlantica is a world appearing in all three Kingdom Hearts games. It is based on the setting of the 1989 film, The Little Mermaid.
Almost completely underwater, Atlantica is a rocky world with immense holes on its surface. Beneath the surface is an entire world full of fish, merfolk, and other aquatic species that make up King Triton's underwater kingdom. The Heartless that appear in Atlantica are unique to it, such as Sea Neons. In all games, the boss of Atlantica is Ursula (sometimes accompanied by Flotsam and Jetsam).
Atlantica Characters:
Sora:
In Atlantica, Donald Duck transforms Sora into a merperson, though with a dolphin tail instead of that of a fish. This version of Sora has unique swimming abilities, and is able to breathe underwater.
The controls for Sora, in his merman form, are slightly different than the normal controls, and in addition are different depending on the game. Much like the controls for flying.
Donald:
Donald Duck is turned into this form when he visits Atlantica. While in this form, he is half-duck on the upper part and half-mollusk from the waist down.
Ariel:
Ariel is the princess of the underwater kingdom, Atlantica. She is originally from Disney's "The Little Mermaid".
The youngest daughter of Triton, king of Atlantica. Outgoing and full of curiosity, Ariel hates being cooped up in her father's palace. She dreams of visiting the world on land, where people live.
Her voice enchanted us in "The Little Mermaid" (1989).

Glut ( the Shark ) :
Glut is the great white shark from the Atlantica world. It first appeared in Disney's The Little Mermaid.
Glut is normally found swimming around the sunken ship area of Kingdom Hearts. It is considered an enemy at first, as you can escape fighting it, but later it has to be defeated to enter Ursula's lair. It is quite annoying as it attacks randomly, and can do a great deal of damage.
Glut has only 200 HP, which is 100 away from a full health bar, so it is relatively easy to defeat. It is more of a burden enemy than a real threat.
He is one of three characters who do not have entries in Jiminy's Journal (the other being Chernabog and Anti-Sora).
